8 November 2017

It’s in our era. False news is everywhere, especially in the world wide web! There is a tool 100% made  in Québec allowing you to verify if scientific news are true. This tool is called the “rumour detector” and you can find the link here. lien. The rumour detector is a new section of the Agence Science-Presse and its goal is to verify whether rumours, circulating ideas are true, each time based on scientific facts. The rumour detector is the first scientific fact-check section in French. We encourage you to visit this website when you find a news item or subject you want to verify. It is possible that the rumour detector has already addressed this subject.
