Your rights in health institutions

Your rights in health institutions

Taking medication on time is crucial for people living with Parkinson’s disease. Sometimes the staff in health institutions (emergency departments or hospitals, nursing homes, retirement homes) is not aware of this emergency or their schedule of delivery of drugs does not meet your personal needs.
Parkinson Québec advocates for rights of people living with the disease and those of their loved ones. In order to advocate for your rights as users of health services and promote your interests, we are launching an investigation into these improper delivery practices.
If you have already experienced this situation as a patient or have felt excluded from the process of dispensing drugs, we invite you to share your story via a short questionnaire.

Interested in sharing your experience? Do you want the experience of hospital or residential services to improve for people living with Parkinson’s and their loved ones? Complete this survey or call us at 1-800-720-1307 to discuss it over the phone.
