A week of physical activity for Parkinson’s disease: Wellness Week!

It is Wellness Week at Concordia University! This fundraising event aims to encourage physical activity as well as educate participants about a specific cause: Parkinson’s disease. During the week of March 4th to the 7th, you can visit the Loyola Campus to participate in the various physical activity classes or make an appointment for a massage with an athletic therapist. In addition, on the evening of March 7th, you can enjoy some wine and cheese and meet the students. All the money raised during this activity will be donated to Parkinson Québec.

About Concordia Students for Parkinson’s

Established in 2017, Concordia Students for Parkinson’s is a group of students from the Department of Health, Kinesiology and Applied Physiology at Concordia University with the goal of helping the Parkinson’s community. They provide support to the services offered by Concordia’s Perform Center and Parkinson Québec, which their goal is to facilitate access to the services offered for people living with the disease by providing support for the services offered by Concordia’s PERFORM Center and Parkinson Québec.
