We regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. Claude Rivard on May 13, 2021 at the age of 68 years old. Diagnosed in 1998 with Parkinson’s disease, Mr. Rivard worked to build what would become Parkinson Québec. He was the first president of La Société Parkinson du Québec, from 1998 to 2001. He also co-founded La Société Parkinson – Région Bas-Saint-Laurent, where he held the position of president and director for several years.
Claude Rivard was an eminently committed man. For more than ten years, he served as president of the Federation of Québec Milk Producers, and was inducted into the Temple de la renommée de l’agriculture du Québec in 1998.
