Revenue Development Director
Parkinson Québec is a non-profit association supporting people living with Parkinson’s disease. Employing fifteen people the organization has experienced a constant growth in recent years. With a mission to fund various projects and programs of vital interest to its members, the organization also aims to improve its offer of services and better support its users.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Revenue development director will be mandated to elaborate a comprehensive revenue development strategy, put in place the tools and resources that will enable the realization and then actively execute the plan to achieve objectives established for the four-year strategic plan.
In concrete terms, the incumbent will achieve this by introducing new means of revenue development and by optimizing the events, methods and tools already in place. The holding of three major events is currently the subject of significant funding, hence the Director will oversee the budget management and coordination of these events while overseeing the work of 2 agents.
The aspired candidate will ideally be a university graduate with a minimum of 5 years experience in business development, fundraising and / or solicitation of partnerships and grants. Recognized for its client-centered approach, strategic thinking, relational and negotiation skills, the retained candidate must be able to conduct multiple projects simultaneously. He or she will also have to develop his/her creativity and flexibility to address certain situation and have the ability and confidence for decision making.
We are looking for a manager who wants to combine both the strategic and the operational aspects of revenue development in the everyday work. Experience in postal solicitation, monthly donations, major donations, planned donations, sponsorships, foundations, grant applications, corporate donations, community activities, etc. will be considered as priorities.
