Nadine Labbe\u0301<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

For over 20 years, Nadine Labb\u00e9 has held strategic positions in the banking sector. She joined the National Bank in 2009, where she has taken on key roles across various areas, including personal banking services. Nadine is currently Vice-President, Financing Solutions for Personal Banking Clients. Working in collaboration with multiple teams, she is responsible for guiding the evolution of products and communications in this sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nadine holds a Master of Business Administration from the Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke and a Bachelor of Business Administration from UQAM.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Remi Alexis Menes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Executive Vice-President<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

R\u00e9mi is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare market. He has strong knowledge of the healthcare services sector in Canada, Europe, Latin America, and the United States. He has led teams from around the world and aligned cross-functional capabilities to exceed annual business objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is Vice-President of the Commercial Services business unit at Inizio Engage, Canada, overseeing a team of 150 employees representing several biopharmaceutical partners across Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some people he cares deeply about are living with Parkinson’s disease, and he is determined to find ways to improve their lives and the lives of their caregivers. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Maison Saint-Rapha\u00ebl and on the advisory committee of CanaQuest Medical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R\u00e9mi studied at Concordia University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Organic Chemistry and an MBA. He recently completed the academic requirements of the Institute of Corporate Directors at McGill University.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Olivier Delisle-Morency<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Executive Vice-President<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Active in the financial sector since 2010, Olivier has been a wealth management advisor since 2018. Over the years, he has supported a diverse clientele including entrepreneurs, professionals, and retirees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He holds a Graduate Diploma in Finance (D.E.S.S.) from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, as well as the designations of Financial Planner from the IQPF (Pl. Fin.) and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM™).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having supported his father, who lived with Parkinson’s disease, for several years before his passing, Olivier has committed himself to the organization to support those affected and promote scientific research to better understand and treat the disease.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jean-Yves Brochu<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treasurer<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Jean-Yves Brochu completed his Bachelor of Business Administration at HEC Montr\u00e9al in 1986 and obtained his CA and CMA accounting designations in 1988 (now CPA). He began his career at KPMG and worked for them in Australia. He subsequently held various positions in private companies: General Manager, Director of Finance, and Vice-President. He spent nearly 30 years at a manufacturing company with over 150 employees, of which he was a shareholder. Various areas of the business were quickly entrusted to him: finance, accounting, information technology, human resources, customer service, and transportation. Over the years, he took on responsibility for several special projects: preparation of Board of Directors meetings, business acquisitions and mergers, employee agreement negotiations, and international development (which brought him to the United States, Brazil, Germany, and France).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was a shareholder in a construction company with his brother, and since 2021 has co-founded, with two partners, a company owning an industrial building where he handles administration. He remains active as a special advisor to various companies while also volunteering for several organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His partner has been living with Parkinson’s disease for over five years, and he wished to get involved with the organization so that research may one day further improve the daily lives of those living with this disease.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Marco Romani<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secretary<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Mr. Romani holds a degree in Accounting from Concordia University and an MBA from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. He subsequently founded Bionic Consulting, which provides business solution services to large organizations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. He has over 25 years of experience in the Montreal business community and has worked across numerous industries during that time. His uncle has been living with Parkinson’s disease for over 30 years, and he had long wished to get involved with the organization. His extensive leadership experience is a valuable and positive addition to Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Marie-Andr\u00e9e Alain<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A trained lawyer, Marie-Andr\u00e9e has held various roles within the Mouvement Desjardins in the areas of compliance, privacy, and the fight against fraud and financial crime. She is currently Vice-President and Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer. In this capacity, she is responsible for ensuring the organization’s activities comply with applicable requirements and for reporting on this to senior management and the board of directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marie-Andr\u00e9e holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Laws from Universit\u00e9 Laval.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Patrick Barbeau<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Patrick Barbeau was appointed Chief Operating Officer at Intact Financial Corporation in June 2021. In this role, Mr. Barbeau is responsible globally for claims services, technology, and data and AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Universit\u00e9 Laval and has been part of the Intact organization since 2000, where he has held various management roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease a few years ago. It is his desire to contribute to the fight against this disease that led him to join the Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec team, first as a member of the Major Campaign cabinet and then on the board of directors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Andr\u00e9ane Beaumier<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Andr\u00e9ane Beaumier is Director of Philanthropic Development at Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al. In this role, she leads the development and implementation of philanthropic development activities, while ensuring alignment across the various areas: major gifts, planned giving, campaigns, and donor relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2019 to 2026, Ms. Beaumier worked at Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec, notably as Senior Advisor \u2013 Mandate and Strategic Analysis. She also held the position of Strategic Advisor \u2013 Public Affairs and Corporate Communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, at the Fondation CHU Sainte-Justine, she served as Associate Director \u2013 Philanthropic Development and Signature Events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Marketing from UQAM, as well as training in sustainable development, fashion design, and event design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since April 2026, Ms. Beaumier has served on the Board of Directors of Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec. Several members of her family, as well as a close friend, have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, making this cause a particularly meaningful commitment for her.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Marc Blondeau<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Over the course of a long management career in the media world in Quebec and Canada, Marc Blondeau was deeply involved in the arts community and in numerous professional associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since retiring as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de la Place des Arts de Montr\u00e9al in December 2018, he has remained active in the community in various capacities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having received a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease, he agreed to join the Board of Directors of Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec in November 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Isabelle Levesque<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Throughout her career, Isabelle Levesque has worked for causes close to her heart. Whether advocating for sick children, youth in the child protection system, isolated seniors, or social justice, this professional in communications, philanthropy, and nonprofit management has invested passion and expertise for the benefit of the most vulnerable members of our society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having received a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 2023 at the age of 52, she joined the Board of Directors of Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec with the desire to transform this personal challenge into a driving force \u2014 to raise awareness of the reality of those living with this disease and to contribute to improving their health and quality of life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Marius M\u00e9nard<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

After obtaining a law degree from Universit\u00e9 Laval in 1977, Me M\u00e9nard was admitted to the Barreau du Qu\u00e9bec in 1978. In 1994, he became a partner at the firm now known as M\u00e9nard Milliard, which specializes in labour law, administrative law, social law, and civil law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me M\u00e9nard has practiced primarily in labour law since the beginning of his career, acting as counsel for employee associations and non-unionized employees. This broad area of law has led him to argue numerous cases before civil courts at all levels as well as before specialized tribunals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to labour law, Me M\u00e9nard has developed particular expertise in pension plans, claims involving infringements of rights protected by the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms, and psychological harassment. Me M\u00e9nard has also delivered numerous training sessions and conferences in labour law.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Judith Rochette<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Me Rochette is a partner at the law firm Lavery de Billy. She has been a member of the Barreau du Qu\u00e9bec since 1988 and holds a Master’s degree in Health Law from the Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke, obtained in 1990. Her Master’s thesis focuses on the phenomenon of alternative medicine in Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A litigation lawyer, she has developed expertise in healthcare dispute management, particularly in medical, pharmaceutical, and hospital professional liability, life and disability insurance, and disputes between medical residents and their universities. She also assists professionals from various professional orders when they are subject to a disciplinary investigation or are brought before their disciplinary council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also regularly acts as legal counsel to members of the senior management teams of university institutions and Faculties of Medicine on various governance matters, such as: access to information requests, guidance on managing students with disruptive behaviour, development of internal procedures, preparation of files or witnesses for administrative bodies (e.g. Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse, Commission d’acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l’information, Ombudsman, Disciplinary Council), etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her brother and a close friend having recently received a Parkinson’s diagnosis, she chose to get involved in order to demystify \u2014 for herself and for the general public \u2014 a disease for which much work remains to be done in finding effective treatments for those affected by it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Micheline Savoie<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Micheline Savoie is a trained pharmacist with over 50 years of experience in hospital and community settings. A graduate of the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy in 1972 and a diploma in Hospital Pharmacy in 1973, she has practiced in several healthcare institutions across Quebec, including in Nicolet and Mont-Joli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deeply committed to her community, Ms. Savoie has served on the board of Parkinson Bas-Saint-Laurent since 2002 and has been its president since 2022. Having been a caregiver to her husband living with Parkinson’s disease for over 26 years, she brings a profoundly human understanding of the realities experienced by those affected by the disease and their loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A volunteer actively involved in professional, community, and artistic circles for many years, Ms. Savoie now brings her expertise, hands-on experience, and dedication to Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec as a member of the board of directors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
