Lyne Tremblay<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Lyne Tremblay is retired, after teaching physical rehabilitation techniques at C\u00e9gep de Chicoutimi for more than 25 years. Her involvement with students, teachers, physical rehabilitation therapists and the physiotherapy profession continues as a member of the first board of directors of the Association des Th\u00e9rapeutes en r\u00e9adaptation physique du Qu\u00e9bec and the boards of directors of both the Ordre de la Physioth\u00e9rapie du Qu\u00e9bec (OPPQ) and C\u00e9gep de Chicoutimi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also received engagement awards from the OPPQ and received the Montaigne award for engagement from C\u00e9gep de Chicoutimi. She focused on professional ethics as part of her Master\u2019s in education. She has been president of Parkinson Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean since 2018 after physiotherapy made her aware of the Parkinson\u2019s cause.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nadine Labbe\u0301<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Vice President<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Nadine Labb\u00e9 has held strategic positions in the banking sector for more than 20 years. She joined National Bank in 2009, where she held key roles in different fields, including retail banking services. Today, Nadine is Vice-President \u2013 Retail Financing Solutions. She works with multiple teams as part of her mandate to orient product development and communications in this sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nadine has an MBA from Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke and a bachelor\u2019s in business administration from UQAM.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Marco Romani<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Romani has an accounting degree from Concordia University and an MBA from Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. He founded Bionic Consulting, which provides business solutions services to major organizations and small and medium enterprises alike. He has more than 25 years\u2019 experience in the Montreal business community and has worked in numerous industries during this period. His uncle has been living with Parkinson\u2019s Disease for more than 30 years and getting involved with the organization fulfills a long-time goal. His extensive management experience is a welcome addition to Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Linda Bambonye<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board Member<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Linda Bambonye has more than 30 years\u2019 clinical and administrative experience in nursing and hospital settings in the Montreal area. She was the vice president, operations and nursing at St. Mary\u2019s Hospital for more than 15 years. She previously occupied different management positions in the nursing and management fields. She has been a consultant at the CIUSSS de l\u2019Ouest-de-l\u2019\u00cele-de-Montr\u00e9al for the past four years, offering her clinical expertise in major infrastructure modernization projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has been involved with Parkinson Montr\u00e9al-Laval for several years and is now President of the Board of Directors. For the past year, she has been a member of the Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec Board of Directors, where she serves as Secretary.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My Anh Hamel<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board Member<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

My Anh Hamel is a business lawyer at Blake, Cassels & Graydon S.E.N.C.R.L.\/s.r.l. She works in various aspects of commercial and corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a law student, My Anh worked as a legal advisor on Project Genesis. Today, she continues her pro bono work by helping elite Canadian athletes with their representation before the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Marius M\u00e9nard<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board Member<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

After obtaining a law degree from Universit\u00e9 Laval in 1977, Mr. M\u00e9nard was called to the Barreau du Qu\u00e9bec in 1978. In 1994, he became an associate at the firm that is today M\u00e9nard Milliard, which specializes in labour, administrative, social and civil law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. M\u00e9nard has focused on labour law since the beginning of his career, representing non-unionized employee associations. He has appeared before civil courts at all levels as well as specialized tribunals in this vast field of law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to labour law, Mr. M\u00e9nard has developed particular expertise in pension plans, claims for infringement of rights protected by the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms and psychological harassment. Mr. M\u00e9nard has also given numerous labour law training courses and conferences.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Marie-France Cloutier <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board Member<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

After working at Desjardins for nearly 30 years, she recently retired from her most recent position at the Desjardins Foundation. Throughout her career, work and the desire to give back to the community led her to work with and sit on several charitable organizations and foundations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During her involvement with these organizations, she learned, day after day, the virtues of volunteering and getting actively involved by drawing on her own skills and on the synergy of various groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is living with Parkinson\u2019s Disease at a very mild stage. Through her involvement, she is able to learn more about this disease and contribute to the best of her abilities as a Board member to find solutions likely, if not to cure, then at least to lessen, the devastating effects of Parkinson\u2019s.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Marc Blondeau<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Over a long career as manager in Quebec and Canadian media, Marc Blondeau became heavily involved in the arts and on numerous professional associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since retiring as president and chief executive officer of the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de la Place des Arts de Montr\u00e9al in December 2018, he has remained active in the community in various capacities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After receiving a Parkinson\u2019s diagnosis, he agreed to join the Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec Board of Directors in November 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Isabelle Levesque<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tout au long de son parcours, Isabelle Levesque a \u0153uvr\u00e9 pour des causes lui tenant profond\u00e9ment \u00e0 c\u0153ur. Que ce soit les enfants malades, les jeunes de la DPJ, les personnes a\u00een\u00e9es en situation d\u2019isolement ou la justice sociale, cette professionnelle en communication, philanthropie et gestion d\u2019OBNL a investi passion et expertise pour le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice des membres les plus vuln\u00e9rables de notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayant re\u00e7u un diagnostic de maladie de Parkinson en 2023 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 52 ans, elle se joint au CA de Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec avec le souhait de transformer cette \u00e9preuve personnelle en moteur, de sensibiliser \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 des personnes vivant avec cette maladie et de contribuer \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leur sant\u00e9 et leurs conditions de vie.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Judith Rochette<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board Member<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Ms. Rochette is an associate at Lavery, de Billy. She was called to the Barreau du Qu\u00e9bec in 1988 and obtained a Master\u2019s in health law from Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke in 1990. Her master\u2019s thesis concerned alternative medicine in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a litigation lawyer, she has developed expertise in dispute management in the healthcare sector, particularly in professional medical, pharmaceutical and hospital liability, in life insurance and disability and also in disputes between medical residents and their university. She also assists professionals from different professional orders when they are subject to a disciplinary investigation or when they are brought before their disciplinary board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also regularly acts as legal counsel to members of the management teams of academic institutions and medical schools on specific management issues such as requests for access to documents, support in dealing with disruptive students, developing internal procedures, preparing files or witnesses for administrative bodies (e.g., Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse, Commission on Access to Information, Ombudsman, disciplinary board), etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both her brother and a friend were recently diagnosed with Parkinson\u2019s Disease, which motivated her to get involved in order to shed some light, for herself and for everyone else, on this disease that we are still a long way from treating effectively.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9laine Racine-Charette<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board Member<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Dr. \u00c9laine Racine-Charette has been a neurologist at CIUSSS-Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean since 2018. After completing her residency in neurology at Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke, she specialized in movement difficulties during a year of further training at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patients with Parkinson\u2019s Disease make up a significant part of her clinical practice. Particularly concerned with the wellness of Parkinson\u2019s patients in the regions, she joined the local Programme Parkinson team and attended meetings of Parkinson-Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean before making the leap to sitting on the Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec Board of Directors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Emmanuelle Boscher <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e d’un doctorat en Neurosciences \u00e0 L’Universit\u00e9 Laval de Qu\u00e9bec, Dre Boscher est actuellement postdoctorante \u00e0 l’UQAM.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durant ses \u00e9tudes, elle a pu c\u00f4toyer des patients atteints d’une maladie neurod\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rative telle que la maladie de Parkinson ou d\u2019Alzheimer. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9mue par les s\u00e9ances pass\u00e9es aupr\u00e8s des patients et a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de s’impliquer davantage. Elle a donc int\u00e9gr\u00e9 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d’Alzheimer de Montr\u00e9al en mars 2023 puis le conseil administratif de Parkinson Qu\u00e9bec en octobre 2023.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019un des moments qui l\u2019ont le plus marqu\u00e9 fut lors d\u2019un test cognitif: un patient devait \u00e9crire une phrase de son choix et il a \u00e9crit \u201cJ\u2019aime ma femme\u201d. Ses capacit\u00e9s cognitives \u00e9taient sur le d\u00e9clin, mais la premi\u00e8re chose qui lui est venue \u00e0 l\u2019esprit fut l\u2019amour qu\u2019il avait pour sa femme. Cette reconnaissance et cette complicit\u00e9 entre les deux, malgr\u00e9 les \u00e9preuves, l\u2019ont beaucoup touch\u00e9e. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
