ABOUT US
The organization’s mission is to support people dealing with Parkinson’s Disease throughout Abitibi-Témiscamingue by providing support and information, advocacy and backing for research into this disease, including:
- Promoting health by offering people with Parkinson’s Disease physical activities adapted to their condition.
- Breaking isolation through mutual aid and support groups.
- Promoting and representing the interests of people with Parkinson’s before private and government bodies.
- Ensuring constant visibility.
- Providing information on the disease to people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.
- Promoting the creation of support groups.
- Supporting activities that contribute to research.
- Remitting funds to qualified beneficiaries.
