ABOUT US

The organization’s mission is to support people dealing with Parkinson’s Disease throughout Abitibi-Témiscamingue by providing support and information, advocacy and backing for research into this disease, including:

  • Promoting health by offering people with Parkinson’s Disease physical activities adapted to their condition.
  • Breaking isolation through mutual aid and support groups.
  • Promoting and representing the interests of people with Parkinson’s before private and government bodies.
  • Ensuring constant visibility.
  • Providing information on the disease to people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.
  • Promoting the creation of support groups.
  • Supporting activities that contribute to research.
  • Remitting funds to qualified beneficiaries.
