Despite the difficult time Sandra Conway has been through, she has decided to make changes in her life. She maintains a positive attitude and stays active. She does art therapy to keep her mind and soul busy and to maximize her strength. Her motto: listen to your body’s signals and slow down to enjoy life and of course, be in harmony with yourself.

Hélène Deutsch
Meet Hélène Deutsch, a person living with Parkinson’s disease and full of positivism. She mentions that it is important to take care of yourself and keep yourself busy, for example by going for walks, meditating and more. She shares that it is important to talk about the taboos of the disease with groups and loved ones.

Kenneth Forse
Kenneth Forse, a person living with Parkinson’s disease who has a passion for antique vehicles, admits that he had some difficulties during his first year following his diagnosis. However, his message to the Parkinson’s community is not to give up. Parkinson’s is not the end of your life, but a new beginning. You have to have fun!

Kim Bartlett

Still driving, dancing, and chasing after her grandson, Kim reminds us that life doesn’t stop with Parkinson’s.
