Parkinson’s Exercise Groups

Physical activity is a key element in Parkinson’s disease management. It reduces the impact of disease symptoms, improves cognitive function and has a neuroprotective effect. You can join online Parkinson’s exercise groups in the comfort of your home, or in person with a group near you.

Parkinson’s boxing

Led by a kinesiologist, the Parkinson’s boxing class improves coordination, balance, muscle strength and cardio.

Adapted activities (Level 1 & 2)

Led by a kinesiologist, this course offers exercises that help strengthen muscles, improve balance, and overall physical endurance (Level 1 & 2).

Voice training

Guided by specialists, you will explore the principles of your voice production, articulation, prosody, resonance and other aspects related to voice. N.B. This is not speech therapy.

Flexibility and mobility

Inspired by the movements of yoga, this workout improves your joint mobility, flexibility and range of motion.

Morning Stretches

This lesson given by Les Grands Ballets, will allow you to improve your flexibility and reduce stiffness. It also promotes better mobility.
